Will is the congregation minister at St Martin’s. He is married to Rachael with two children. They lived in Manchester for 6 years before moving South to Stockport! He previously studied at Oak Hill Theological College and is doing further training for ordained ministry at St Mellitus college in Liverpool. He is most likely to be found cajoling his family to enjoy a walk in the countryside or practicing guitar in the vain hope that the St Martin’s band will allow him to play. Parkrun is a non-negotiable on a Saturday morning!
Paul is the licenced minister responsible for St Martin’s He is also the minister of St Clement’s church in Openshaw where he has been since 2012. He was born and raised in Blackburn. He became a Christian at 18. After four years as a teacher he was ordained in 2007 and served his curacy in south Manchester. Paul is married to Gill and they have four boys and one daughter. He enjoys following Blackburn Rovers and spending time with his family doing whatever they like to do.
Becky is the children's and youth worker at St Martin's. She was born and brought up in Manchester and has now returned to her northern roots with her daughter, Elizabeth. Becky loves people - she's at her happiest chatting with a cup of tea and some cake.
Tim is one of 2 church wardens at St Martin’s, he runs his own IT company, loves the outdoors and has a great heart for reaching our community. He and Jo have lived in the parish for 7 years and have two sons. For the most part, if it’s broken Tim can fix it, if it needs organising Jo can sort it!
Tom is one of 2 wardens at St Martin's. He's lived in the Heatons since he was born, and now works as a chartered surveyor at a Manchester based firm. He's passionate about cooking, especially when it involves making pizza or firing up the BBQ. He lives locally to church with his wife Katy and their toddler.
Bethan is the administrator at St. Martin's, and has lived in Heaton Norris for 4 years with her husband Sean. In her spare time, you can find Bethan in her home ceramics studio, or exploring local parks with her daughter and two sausage dogs!
